Clash Royale – Minions

minions

“Three fast, unarmored flying attackers. Roses are red, minions are blue, they can fly, and will crush you!”

Summary

  • This card can be found from Arena 2, Bone Pit.
  • This card costs 3 Elixir.
  • This card produces 3 Minions.
  •

    Strategy

  • Use the Minions with a high hitpoint troop to allow it to deal damage without getting focused by surround defensive troops or towers because they are very squishy.
  • The Minions can be used to destroy troops that cannot target air troops, such as the Goblins.
  •

    Strengths

  • Can be used to destroy troops that cannot attack air troops, such as the Barbarians.
  • Can deal decent amount of damage if left unhindered.
  •

    Weaknesses

  • Not Elixir-Efficient. I would rather use Minion Horde as it is much worth it.
  • Any card that deals splash can easily destroy it. For example, Baby Dragon.
  • The Arrows/Poison/Zap can destroy the Minions.
  • Too weak to survive on its own. Probably the weakest card in Clash Royale.
  • Most players just leave the Minions alone as they are not able to do anything alone.

    Trivia

  • According to its description, apparently it is called a group if there are 3 Minions, but a horde when where are 6 Minions. What do you call 9 then?
  • Works and looks the same as the Minions in Clash of Clans. Only different thing is the way they attack. In Clash of Clans, they are ranged while they are melee in Clash Royale.
  • The description of Minion Horde is referring to this card.
  • The description is a remodeled version of “Roses are red, Violets are blue”.
