  • The Knight is a troop that deals decent amount of damage and it is a decent tank card.
  • It is basically a land, melee troop. Similar to Barbarians. You can think of it as a Barbarian in a suit of armor.

    Strategy

  • It is basically used as an meat shield for other damaging units.
  • Pair it up with range troops such as the Musketeer or Archers.
  • Can be paired up with a tank card such as the Giant to allow it to be a second line of tank.
  • Can be used defensively and offensively. The role in which the Knight plays is the same. Which is to tank and deal damage.

    Strengths

  • Elixir-Efficient. It is a cheaper solution as compared to other cards. However, it is slightly weaker. So it actually depends on your deck. As some high level players prefer using the knight.
  • It is able to soak up damage whilst clearing surrounding opponent troops. Hence it is more versatile as compared to other troops such as Giants.
  • I generally like to use the Knight to soak up the Prince charge attack as I am able to tank it while still surviving and dealing some damage.
  • One of the most versatile cards. It is able to be used defensively/offensively, either as a tank or a damage source.

    Weaknesses

  • Air units such as the Minions can easily destroy the Knight as it is only able to attack land units.
  • As it is only able to attack one target at a time, the Skeleton Army can easily outduel the Knight.
  • Range units such as the Archers can also easily take him down without getting damaged if deployed correctly.
  • Barbarians costing just 2 more Elixir is much stronger than the Knight.

    Trivia

  • According to the Knight’s description, they are distant cousins to the Barbarians due their physical similarities, especially their mustaches.
  • When the Knight dies, his sword is embedded in the Arena’s ground.
  • It is one of the most versatile tanky card as it can be deployed defensively and offensively due to its ability to soak up damage while attacking surrounding troops at the same time.
  • The Knight’s hitpoints was buffed by 10%. This is as of the 18/5/16 update.
