Clash Royale – Balloon
“As pretty as they are, you won’t want a parade of THESE balloons showing up on the horizon. Drops powerful bombs and when shot down, crashes dealing area damage.”
This card can be found from Arena 2, Bone Pit.
This card costs 5 Elixir.
It only target buildings and when it is destroyed, it drops an area damage bomb but it is significantly weaker.
Drops the first bomb instantly once it reaches a building.
Complements with the Freeze spell. As it is able to deal large amount of damage in a short period of time.
Deploy it with tanky units such as Giant as it has low hitpoints. To prevent it from being targeted by the tower or other units.
Complements well with the Rage spell as well as it is able to increase the movement speed of the Balloon.
The Balloon, with the Golem is a very powerful combo. The Golem will soak up all the damage while the Balloon can just focus on the Tower.
Deploy the Balloon with a Wizard or Baby Dragon as they are able to deal splash damage which can easily destroy squishy troops like the Minion Horde.
Deals massive amount of damage to buildings if opponent has no troop that can attack air units.
Drops a weaker bomb on the spot it got destroyed on that deals splash damage on both buildings and troops within the area.
Attacks instantly once it reaches a building.
Easily taken down as it only attack buildings.
Minion Horde can easily destroy the Balloon.
The Balloon, is usually destroyed even before it reaches the towers.
Can be easily baited to other buildings. All you have to do is to plant a building card in the middle of your base.
||Damage per second
The Balloon’s hitpoints was buffed by 5%. This update is as of 23/3/16.
Part of the Skeleton family. It is related to the Guards, Giant Skeleton, Skeleton Army and Tombstone.
The description is a reference to Balloon Parade, a popular Clash of Clans commercial.
The bombs used to attack does not deal area damage unlike the Bomber.
The Balloon’s image looks like the Balloon is Clash of Clans but the envelope is re-skinned and the colour is different.
In Clash of Clans, there is a slight pause when the Balloon reaches a building and it deals splash damage, however it attacks straight away here and it does not deal splash damage.
It seems to be the direct opposite of the Giant Skeleton. The Giant Skeleton deals most of its damage from its death while the Balloon does most of its damage when it is alive.
The death damage is half of its DPS and 1/6 of damage per hit.
