Clash Royale – Archers
“A pair of unarmored ranged attackers. They’ll help you with ground and air unit attacks, but you’re on your own with coloring your hair.”
This card can be found from the Tutorial.
This card costs 3 Elixir.
It summons a pair of Archers.
The Archer is a land, ranged unit that uses a bow for attacking. They can attack both air and land units.
Usually used as a support for high hitpoint troops to deal damage to towers, for example, Giant Skeleton.
Can be used to defend against low hitpoint troops such as Goblins.
Time your placement of Archers properly to ensure that it does not get wipe out by opponent units and to allow it to attack a few more times before opponent reaches your tower.
Can be used to reshuffle your deck without sacrificing too much Elixir.
Works extremely well defensively as it can bait opponent’s troop such as the P.E.K.K.A to attack them while also dealing damage.
If placed behind a tank card such as the Knight when defending, it can deal quite a bit of damage. It works the same offensively as well.
Attacks both land and air units.
Can be used to complement with a lot of cards.
Decent attack speed. Able to wipe out low hitpoint melee troops.
Can deal a lot of damage when there is a tank card to tank the damage for them.
Splash damage. A Bomber can easily wipe them out due to it having low hitpoints.
Easy to be defended against. Does not deal much damage against towers as its damage is pretty low. With its low hitpoint, opponent just has to place a unit to bait them and the tower can kill them easily.
Most players, also just ignore the Archers and let them hit the Tower as it deals very little damage.
The Musketeer, which costs just 4 Elixir is a huge upgrade from the Archers.
Baby Dragon can easily defeat the Archers, but the Musketeer can take down the Baby Dragon.
The Musketeer, can also deal more damage to the Tower as compared to the Archers.
Even though the Archers are slightly stronger than the Spear Goblins, most players still use the Spear Goblins due to the lower Elixir Cost.
||Air & Ground
||Damage per second
The Archers initial attack was buffed and they attack at the same rate as Spear Goblins now. This update is as of 23/3/16.
Clash Royale Archers smiles while the Archers in Clash of Clans displays an angry face.
Wears a blue cape whereas in Clash of Clans it wears a green cape.
Has a weird magenta coloured hair.
Player might hear the original Archer deployment sound from Clash of Clans when Archers are deployed.
A level 12 Archer can survive 1 hit from a level 1 Mini P.E.K.K.A.
