Clash Royale – Tombstone
“Troop building that periodically deploys Skeletons to fight the enemy. When destroyed, spawns 4 Skeletons. Creepy!”
This card can be found from Arena 2, Bone Pit.
This card costs 3 Elixir.
The Tombstone, if left undamaged, will last for 40 seconds.
Produces 1 Skeleton/3 seconds.
The Skeleton produced, will be 2 level higher than the Tombstone.
Can be used for both attacking and defending.
Produces 4 Skeletons when building is destroyed.
One of the best counter to one the most overpowered card, the Prince. Deploy the Tombstone in front of the Tower when the Prince is charging, the Prince will then destroy the Tombstone will then produce 4 Skeletons to attack the Prince, while also baiting the Prince to attack them instead of your Tower. As the Prince has a slow re-target rate, it will take a long time to destroy the 4 Skeletons. Which allows your tower to destroy the Prince.
You can use the Tombstone to bait other target-building Cards as well such as the Giant. The Skeletons produced deals quite a bit of damage when they attack together.
The Skeleton is the perfect bait against single-hitting cards.
The 4 Skeletons produced when the Tombstone is destroyed can be supported with other tank cards and damage cards to swarm opponents.
Complements well with other buildings that produces units such as Barbarian Hut and Goblin Hut.
Complements well with the Witch along with a tank card such as the Giant. Deploy the Witch at the end of your base with the Tombstone. The Witch will produce Skeletons with the Tombstone, hence you will have a swarm of Skeletons by the time you reach opponent’s base. The Giant will then tank all the damage while your Skeletons and Witch deal the damage.
Can be used to reshuffle deck.
Can be used to slow down the tempo of the battle.
Good bait against single hitting units such as the Giant Skeleton.
Produces 4 Skeletons when destroyed for a last line of defense/attack.
Perfect bait against single-target damage cards.
A very cheap and efficient defensive building.
Can be used for counterattacking.
When swarmed against enemy with no Area Damage it can deal tons of damage.
Works well with Witch, able to swarm opponent with Skeletons.
The Tombstone can produce up to 17 Skeletons if left undamaged. If summoned manually, it will take 4 Elixir to summon 16 Skeletons, hence giving you an Elixir profit of 1 Elixir in addition to 1 more Skeleton.
A tower shot can destroy the Skeleton.
A swarm of Skeletons is weak against units/spells that deal Area Damage as they can usually get one shot.
Not able to attack air units. Hence, opponent’s can easily destroy a swarm of Skeletons with a Baby Dragon.
Skeletons alone are not strong enough to do anything offensively.
Considered the weakest among the other two spawn buildings in terms of units spawned. The Spear Goblin is able to take the Skeleton down even before the Skeleton reaches them and the Barbarian can easily take them down as it is tankier and it deals more damage.
Part of the Skeleton family. It is related to the Balloon, Bomber, Giant Skeleton, Guards and Skeleton Army.
On 9/2/16, the number of spawned skeletons when Tombstone is destroyed was reduced to 4 (from 6).
On 19/2/16, the lifetime was nerfed to 40 sec (from 60 sec).
The Skeletons spawned are exactly the same as those spawned by the Witch, the Skeletons card, and the Skeleton Army.
The Tombstone’s hitpoints was buffed by 10%. This is as of the 18/5/16 update.
