  • This card costs 5 Elixir.
  • The Inferno Tower, if left undamaged, will last for 40 Seconds.

  • It is extremely potent against tank cards such as the Giant.

    Strategy

  • Deploy it around the range of towers to prevent other units from destroying it while it is targeting other units.
  • Complement wells with cannon as they can take down tank units quickly.
  • Complements well with the X-Bow. The X-Bow will focus on the Tower or other troops while the Inferno Tower will take down the Tank troops.
  • Can be used to reshuffle your deck.
  • Can be used to slow down the tempo of the game.

    Strengths

  • Damage is increased over time. Can easily destroy the Giant even before the Giant reaches it.
  • The only card that can destroy tank cards effectively.
  • Can target both air and land units.
  • Arguably one of most favourite card among Clash Royale Players.

    Weaknesses

  • Weak against a group of units because it can only attack 1 at a time.
  • It is extremely weak against squishy troops as the damage will only be high if the troop is tanky.
  • Can be easily baited by using squishy troops such as Spear Goblins or Skeletons while allowing your tankier troop to attack it.

    Trivia

  • On 2/2/16, Inferno Tower’s lifetime was nerfed to 45 sec (from 60 sec) and made slower to re-target enemies┬áby 50%.
  • On 19/2/16, Inferno Tower’s was further nerfed, reducing its hitpoints by 6% and lifetime to 40 sec (from 45 sec).
  • It resembles the level 1 Inferno Tower from Clash of Clans.
  • The stun from Zap does not reset its damage.
  • The Inferno Tower in Clash Royale can only fire at 1 enemy a time, unlike in Clash of Clans where it can be toggled between single target or multi-target mode.
